Boskiet
(fr. bosquet) – bosquet, grove, copse; part of garden architecture accompanied by parterres and cabinets. Bosquets consisted of straight rows of trees of the same species (usually linden, maple, barberry, and spruce), often serving as a background for other plants, colourful flowers, as well as garden theatre plays. They appeared as early as the Renaissance and were mainly found in French-style gardens.
