Indycht, indygo
(Lat. Indigofera tinctoria), also called true indigo; a species of plant from the bean family, growing in tropical regions, used to produce blue dye. In the 18th century, it was widely used to bleach linen and fabrics, creating the illusion of a white colour with a cool blueish shade.
