Koronka igłowa

needle lace; made using a special needle, originally crafted in Italy. It came in various forms: raticella lace featured a simple, geometric structure divided into square segments, Venetian lace was raised, with intricate floral and botanical patterns, and rosellino lace resembled the latter but had a more modest ornamentation. In the 17th century, Jean-Baptiste Colbert introduced needle lace production to France (Alençon), which quickly gained popularity in Europe.
