Koronki brabanckie (flandryjskie, brukselskie)
Brabant (Flanders, Brussels) lace; fine bobbin and needle lace. In the early 18th century, it imitated French point de France needle lace but was made on a drochel ground used in bobbin lace in the 1730s. Brussels lace was produced on a tightly stretched square mesh. Brukselka (Brussels lace) was first produced on a ground of very thin thread rods, later replaced by a drochel ground, a hexagonal mesh.
